As unexpected issues can be a part of any renovation. Our commitment is to handle them with complete transparency and professionalism, ensuring you are always in control. We follow a clear, three-step process:
1. Immediate Stop & Assess: The moment we discover an unforeseen issue—such as hidden water damage, unexpected structural problems, or faulty wiring—we immediately pause work on that specific area. Our site manager will thoroughly assess the problem and determine the safest and most effective solutions.
2. Discuss & Decide: We will contact you immediately to explain the issue in clear, simple terms. We'll show you the problem, present you with the potential solutions and their associated costs, and give you our professional recommendation. We will work with you to find a solution that aligns with your needs and budget.
3. Formal Change Order: No additional work will ever proceed, and no extra costs will be incurred, until you have approved a formal Change Order. This is a simple document that clearly states the additional work to be done and the agreed-upon cost. This ensures there are absolutely no surprises on your final invoice.
