A kitchen renovation can be exciting—but also a little disruptive. With proper planning, smart organization, and a few temporary solutions, you can stay comfortable and reduce the stress that often comes with construction. Here are some essential tips to help you stay prepared and navigate your renovation with ease.

Establish a Realistic Timeframe
A well-planned schedule is key to a smooth renovation. We will map out each phase of the project and set realistic deadlines. Leave room for unexpected delays, and stay in regular contact to keep things running on time and within scope.

Set Up a Temporary Kitchen
Create a small food prep area in another room using essentials like a microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge. Use disposable plates and utensils to reduce the need for dishwashing. Pack and Label. Carefully pack away your kitchen items, labeling boxes clearly for easy unpacking and unexpected access during the build. Set aside daily essentials you’ll need access to during the renovation.

Protect Adjacent Areas
We supply plastic sheeting and tarps for dust protection, covering nearby furniture and décor. During renovations, ensure the safety of kids and pets by designating a secure area away from the construction zone.

Plan Meals Ahead
Prepare freezer meals in advance or explore local takeaway and delivery options. Consider dining with family or friends on especially disruptive days.
